Budapest

This was our first country in Europe, and it really set the bar high. When we first arrived, the weather was perfect. We had been in mostly very hot weather until now, so it was a nice cool-off. We spent our first days exploring the city, looking at the beautiful architecture, and eating delicious pasta. One morning, we ate at this super cool restaurant with plants everywhere! It was so beautiful, and they had amazing pancakes. We visited Buda Castle, which was way bigger than we expected, and we ended up going to a museum that had some of the most beautiful art. On Friday night, Ashlyn and I went to this boat party that her hostel was going to, and it ended up being so much fun. We met so many people and made some lifelong friendships and memories! We then spent the rest of our time enjoying the city, eating the infamous chimney cakes, and hanging with friends some more before we took a train to the next country!
