Bruges

When we arrived in Bruges, it was quite rainy, so we decided to spend the day going to the chocolate museum and the diamond museum. Everyone knows about Belgian chocolate, so we had to learn about its history, and of course, the free chocolate samples were nice too. The diamond museum was also pretty interesting; we got to learn how diamond rings are made and where all the diamonds are found. The next day, the weather was perfect, so we got to explore this beautiful city. We did some shopping, tried a Belgian waffle that was so delicious we wanted ten of them, and walked through the park and saw lots of beautiful sights. The town center was very pretty with its greatly detailed buildings, so we ate there and really took it all in.

Brussels

After arriving in Brussels super early, we decided to scooter around the city until our room was ready. We visited Brussels Park, which wasn’t on our list, but I am happy we visited because it was super beautiful. After that, we were able to check into our hotel, which didn’t have an elevator, so we had to walk up three flights of stairs with our bags. The following day had the most perfect weather; we walked everywhere we wanted to go and really enjoyed the day. The churches and parks here were so beautiful! We also visited this huge structure that looked like an atom. Shortly after that, I fell off my scooter. We also visited the Grand Place, which was very grand and had beautiful architecture. On our last day here, we decided to take the Ferris wheel to get a view of the city at night and sat at a bar and had some drinks before we headed off the next morning.
