Lisbon

We spent only a few days in Lisbon, but we loved it right away. We did a lot of walking around the city, where we visited Rossio Square, the Rua Augusta Arch, Praça do Comércio (a beautiful square by the water), and Miradouro de Santa Luzia, which offers the most stunning views of the city and the river. The weather was perfect, making it enjoyable and easy to explore these places on foot.

On our last day, we visited São Jorge Castle, which offered incredible views of the city, the river, the bridge, and Christ the King statue. We walked through the old castle grounds, where peacocks roamed freely. We also climbed to the top of the castle walls, got to see the ancient stones up close, and felt like real knights!

Lagos

Lagos is a relatively small coastal city, known for its beautiful beaches, so naturally, we spent most of our time here soaking up the sun. On our first day, we strolled through town and grabbed a delicious breakfast before heading to the beach to relax and enjoy the sun all day.

The next day, we took an amazing boat tour along the coast, which featured stunning rock formations and caves. Our boat was small enough to enter some of the larger caves, which was incredible! After the tour, we had lunch by the beach and spent the rest of the afternoon tanning—clearly, we needed some time to unwind!

Porto

Our last stop in Portugal was Porto, where we spent two days exploring the major sights, such as Porto Cathedral, the Church of the Souls, the Dom Luís I Bridge, and everything in between. We loved walking along the river and people-watching while enjoying the warm weather.
