Barcelona

When we first arrived in Barcelona, the weather wasn’t ideal, with two days of rain. However, we made the most of it by visiting the Moco Museum, doing some shopping, and exploring the city a bit. When the weather finally cleared up, we set out early to make up for lost time. We visited Casa Milà, the Barcelona Cathedral, Sagrada Família, the Gothic Quarter, and one of my favorites, Ciutadella Park, which was stunning and located right next to the Arc de Triomf.

We saw a lot of beautiful sights and tried some delicious foods, including a Spanish favorite—tapas! We quickly fell in love with tapas restaurants since they allowed us to sample a variety of dishes at a reasonable price. Barcelona gave us a true taste of Spanish culture and cuisine, and we had an amazing time!

Ibiza

Ibiza is known for its nightlife and is basically the party capital of the world. We spent the weekend there and visited two major clubs, including Hi Ibiza, the number one club in the world. One of our favorite EDM artists was DJing that night, so we arrived early, got a great spot up close, and danced all night long. They even had a Dj playing in the bathroom! The next night, we went to Amnesia, famous for its Elrow party, which features tons of balloons, stage dancers, and artists. It was almost like a circus! We had balcony tickets and got to see the party from above, which was an incredible experience.

During the day, we explored the area and found a restaurant we loved so much, we went back three times over the weekend. It was called TKO Tacos, and they had the most amazing tacos and quesadillas—we couldn’t resist returning, plus it was incredibly cheap!

We had a great time in Ibiza, but I hope we can go back one day to explore the island more thoroughly!

Madrid

We fell in love with Madrid as soon as we arrived. It’s a beautiful city, clean and more modern than Barcelona. We were lucky to have amazing weather the entire time, so we spent our days walking around and admiring the stunning architecture. We visited Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace, Puerta del Sol, and saw many other incredible sights along the way.

One of my favorite places was Retiro Park, with its beautiful lake, monuments, fountains, and even a rose garden that I absolutely loved! It was so, so beautiful. We also spent time enjoying more tapas and shopping before heading to our next destination!

Toledo

This city was the most surprising to us; we didn’t expect it to be filled with castles. It felt like we were walking through an old medieval movie. It was incredible to stroll through the streets, seeing so many castles and ancient architecture still standing after thousands of years.

We visited Alcántara Bridge, the Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes, Toledo Cathedral, and explored some parks. We loved how the city preserves these historic buildings, allowing visitors to experience what it must have felt like to be there many years ago.
