Berlin
Berlin was one place I did not expect to be so beautiful, but it was. We had pretty good weather for the most part, so we spent our days exploring the city on scooters. On our first day, we visited the East Side Gallery, which is part of the Berlin Wall covered in paintings by local artists. The next day, we set out to the Berlin Wall Memorial and the Victory Column, where we walked up hundreds of steps to get a view of the whole city.
We spent the following day on Museum Island, where we visited five museums, which was way more interesting than you might think. We ate great food and enjoyed our time. On our last full day, I had a special request to see the Billie Eilish wall, where she left her mark many years before. It was so cool seeing her signature and all the messages from people who love her.
We were a little burnt out from all the history stuff, so we decided to go to a modern immersive museum and a spy museum to have some fun. We very much enjoyed Berlin, and I would definitely come back!
